Review Of The House Debate Of S. 686

The following members of the House of Representatives who spoke against Senate Bill S. 686 were: Rep. Wexler (D-FL 19th), Rep. Wasserman-Schultz (D-FL 20th), Rep. Frank (D-MA 4th), Rep. WU (D-OR 1st), Rep. Davis (D-FL 11th), Rep. Moran (D-VA 8th), Del. Holms-Norton (D-DC), Rep. Lewis (D-GA 5th), Rep. Baird (D-WA 3rd), Rep. Nadler (D-NY 8th), Rep. McDermott (D-WA 7th), Rep. Brown-Waite (R-FL 5th), Rep. Shays (R-CT 4th), Rep. Conyers (D-MI 14th), Rep. Capuano (D-MA 8th), Rep. Levin (D-MI 12th), Rep. Scott (D-VA 3rd), Rep. Watt (D-NC 12th), Rep. Cleaver (D-MO 5th), Rep. Carson (D-IN 7th), Rep. Kaptur (D-OH 9th), Rep. Hoyer (D-MD 5th). That's 15 Dumocrats and 2 turncoat Republicans. The left turned this into a partisan battle. Just last week they approved unanimously the House version of this bill which was more broad. But tonight, 15 of them stood up against saving this life. Why? Because she's innocent. She hasn't violated the laws of God and man. She hasn't killed, raped, injured, robbed, or otherwise violated any of our laws. Therefore, she isn't worthy of appeals consideration. Just pull out her feeding tube and let her starve. This is barbaric. And thank God that we have a majority in Congress and were able to get this bill passed by a vote of 203-58.
I would ask, that any of you who may be reading this, to take note if your Congressman/woman is listed above. And if so, seriously consider if you actually support them. Make sure that your Congressperson represents you not an ideology contrary to yours.
You kind of get the feeling that everyone in the state of Florida is out to insure that this woman dies. During my observation of the debate, only 2 Representatives from Florida stood in support of the bill. And Debbie Wasserman-Schultz rose twice to say the same crap twice. Representative Ginny Brown-Waite a Republican also stood against the bill.
It has occurred to me that each time I hear a Dumocrat in the Congress speak, the whinny voices get worse. Barney Frank, Sander Levin, and John Conyers are by far the worst of them.
